“To “not” understand or embrace the body’s limitations from a physical or mental aspect is an injustice to the soul and its creator.
We must find a way to exploit our vulnerabilities. We must find a way to dissect our weaknesses. For how are we to know our true potential?”
-HTFU Founder Mark Gingrich

Now this is what I call blunt. HTFU speaks volumes to my soul. As a fashion enthusiast and dance fitness addict, I am always on the hunt for one-of-a-kind brands that represent more than just selling another piece of cloth.
Whether supporting local shops and restaurants, small business owners, farmer’s markets, entrepreneurs, independent sellers, and the dreamers, the creation of something not mass-produced a hundred thousand times over is far more meaningful.
It’s not by luck HTFU found me. I was targeted. Scrolling through my Instagram feed, popped their sexy sponsored ad. And then… (Oh, just take my debit card already.)
Founded in 2009, this relatively new business already boasts over 95K Instagram followers. Although, not very surprising since they are dope as hell and raw as a MF. HTFU’s message is gravitating and their quotes of honesty motivates, yet slaps the realness across your face. No bullshit. Straight to the point. Just do it mentality. Basically, my kind of pushing your limits kind of shit. One of my favorite quotes printed on their shirts said “You don’t always need a plan bro. Sometimes you just need balls.”

Offered in both women and men selections, this lifestyle brand’s target audience is obviously for fitness enthusiasts. Although, not only for physically fit folks, it’s for the mentally fit, too. Strength comes from perseverance; and how and what you do to overcome the obstacles and challenges shuffled in this game called life, determines what kind of strength you have.
I’m a sucker for cropped hoodies. So, that was an easy purchase. Also, baggy pants are generally my kind of flavor. However, HTFU’s leggings were more appealing than their sweatpants selection. If they offered shorts for women, I’d probably buy them. I’ll keep my eyes peeled though. They also have hats and accessories, but for now their strongest offering, for me anyway, are their hoodies.
If you dig the style as much as I do, check them out at HTFU.com.

(Note: Ya’ll, I’m not sponsored by HTFU, nor was I approached to review. It’s just when I like dope shit and feel passionate about it, then I do what I do best… dance? JK. I write and share it with all of you. Enjoy loves!)
